Professor becomes "a count ant" Classes at MSSU William Six or seven years ago while I was waiting in my truck for my son to finish ball practice, I was doodling on a pad of paper. I just happened to draw an ant and as I continued to doodle, I added some fangs. All of a sudden the idea hit me to draw a Count Dracula ant. After I drew it, I realized I had drawn a count ant (accountant). As a professor of accounting, I thought that would be a good costume to wear on Halloween to teach my classes. My wife thought it was a stupid idea to dress up at a university, so I left it alone. Over the years I’d think about it and look around for an ant costume. I just hit dead ends and never really pursued it seriously. Then this year I called Roy’s Costumes & Formal Wear. Brooke answered the phone and told me they didn’t have any ant costumes, but wanted to know why I wanted one. When I told her, she just laughed and laughed and laughed and said that they’d come up with something if I’d come in to the store.
I stopped by a few days later and Brooke, Stephanie and Karen had a fun time being creative putting together a count ant costume for me. My colleagues and students loved the costume. They thought it was the most creative costume idea they’d seen.
